Selling in Frampton Cotterell? Let's Talk
Frampton Cotterell still has a genuine high street, independent shops, and bigger gardens than you'd get in Bristol for the same money. As a local, I know what buyers here are looking for and what the different parts of the village command.
I don't have insider connections or off-market deals. What I do is straightforward: honest valuations, targeted marketing, and personal handling of your sale from start to finish. Twenty-five years in financial services taught me there are no shortcuts when it comes to someone's biggest asset.
About Frampton Cotterell
Frampton Cotterell has Saxon origins, a 13th-century church in St Peter's, and the River Frome running alongside it — and it still has a post office, a library, and a primary school, which is more than most villages this size can say. It's about eight miles north of Bristol, sitting alongside Winterbourne and Coalpit Heath in a way that means the communities bleed into each other a little, but each keeps its own character.
The population is around 5,000 — small enough to feel like somewhere rather than just a postal district, big enough to have the essentials. There are Cotswold stone cottages and older terraced houses in the historic parts, then larger family estates built from the 1960s onwards, with some newer development on the edges. Gardens tend to be more generous than you'd get in Bristol for the same money.
The community is genuinely active. People move here and slot in quickly because there's something to slot into. It's not manufactured — it's the kind of thing that builds over generations, and Frampton has had time to build it.
The M4, M5, and Bristol Parkway are all within fifteen minutes. Close enough that the commute is manageable. Far enough that it actually feels like you've left.
